Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was good in the hotel .you can hire a car and visit different places. At the back of the hotel there is a beautiful stream where you might find peacocks. You can also visit forests by jeep or by elephant.

Gorumara Experience: Gorumara is probably the best forest destination in Dooars. The view of the jungle from the top makes it breathtaking.

Gorumara Experience: People who are in love with nature this place is a paradise for them. Gorumara is not only a feast of eyes but it recharges the minds batteries so that one can come back to the hustle and bustle of daily life as a new person with so much energy.

Having a vehcile at your own disposal on hire is a good option, Basic medicines for fever, stomach upset etc are advised to carry along as the place is away from the city.

Gorumara Experience: Gorumara Forest in Dooars is a beautiful forest where you can introduce people to Jungle Tourism. Actually one forest have been divided into two - Gorumara and Chapramari. The latter is more dense. I would highly recommend it as an weekend destination. You can go with your children and enjoy the beauty of the Jungle.

Never ever visit the forest with an intention of sighting animals, you will miss the great experience of jungle safari. Always remember you have entered their territory and it is up to them to allow us to see them (Just the opposite in Zoos). Enjoy the whole as a package and you will always feel that when will I visit again. Please cover the ears of your kids it is very important. Cover your head and ears for jeep safaris.
