We reached Gushaini at 2am by a taxi hired from Chandigarh. It took 9 hours to reach there as the road conditions are worse (expert driver is mandatory). The place only offers homestays and they're petty good. Raju's Homestay is the most popular and oldest and the most attractive feature is their own ropeway to carry guests from the other side of the river (must do). Tirthan river is calm, clean, and shallow there. The water is sweet and fishes are very tasty to eat (after cooking). There is a waterfall and good trek for enthusiastic travellers. The apricot and apple trees blossom in the Autumn season and it's beautiful see them. A one night/two days trip is sufficient to explore the place if you are not visiting the national park nearby. Go there, if you are looking for some peace, fresh air, clean natural water to drink, some trekking. Only option to reach at Tirthan valley is by road, so choose your mode of travel carefully.

The place is calm & quite with just a river and you. This is an ideal place to unwind yourself.
This place is more suited to people who dont like crowded tourist places. One most important thing the resort only allows family to stay.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are no restaurants, only attraction there is a waterfall & a trip to jhaloripass.

Activities & things to do: Just rome around, trekking, fishing in river tirthan, eat and drink.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is on delhi manali route. Take a right turn from ought tunnel.
If one goes by bus then they should get down at ought and take a taxi to gushain.
