"Twin City" new review

Hubli Experience: Hubli - Dharwad are twin cities. Hubli is dynamic. Dharwad is calm and a place to enjoy leisure times. Dharwad is termed as pensioner's paradise
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Lot of interesting places are there to enjoy food, sight seeing & shopping. Hygiene part lies in our decision, otherwise good hotels & restaurents are in plenty. One can enjoy North Karnataka specials like Dharwad Peda, 'Davangere Bennae Dosai' etc. Lot of very intersting places are there like Dandili etc..
Activities & things to do: Nothing special.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: One can reach by Rail, road & air. Pick ups, drops and tourists facilities are in plenty. Be choosy, becauses choices & competition are there.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Jolada Rotti meals are a very sought after style of food which is very exclusive to ths area in Karnataka. Mishra Dharwar Pedas are of course a treat one cannot miss at Hubli. Ilcal Sarees and textile are a speciality of the area.
Activities & things to do: If you are in Hubli - Dharwar there are a lots of places of importance such as the Karnatak University, the Yellamma Temple though in (Belgaum Dist) is close by, Agricultural collage, historical places, lake on Hubli - Dharwar Roadetc
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Hubli - Dharwar are almost same distance from Bangalore in the south and Mumbai in the North west, it is very close to Goa also. Hubli has an air port and connected by flights from Bangalore. It is well connected by train, govt/private buses and has good connectivity by roads and one can drive down to Hubli from Bangalore which is about 8 hrs journey almost the same from Mumbai.

"Hubli Trip"

Hubli Experience: If you are from Mumbai or any where from North and had vistied cities in South India, you would have sensed concerns for communication with people in hindi/english, food and traffic.. Hubli blends both North & South int terms of food, people, communication.. Usually thats never the case with most of the south cities... You end getting Wack if you dont have people to talk in common language, compromise on food and basic travelling in life..
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Jog Falls, Gokarna are little far away but worthy to visit from hubli.. Also some resorts banana resort ( almost 150 kms) makes trip worthy to hubli..
Activities & things to do: N/A
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Traveeling by NH is better than traveeling by trains... I enjoyed the overnight drive and enjoyed smoothie drive to Hubli.. If you traveeling from North, i.e. Mumbai or nearly states, train route is not so convincing as travelling by road..

Activities & things to do: Nil
