Jabalpur Experience: Puri a beautiful holy place one should visit one or more times both for enjoyment and social obligation.Recently getting developed Gour Bihar,a place beautifully made with absolute cool and breathing in fresh air.It is a place very small but next to heaven.Once you go in the beach you never feel like coming out.Its a perfect place of holyness and enjoying your summer or winter holidays

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You will enjoy all sea foods close to the main beach road and nearby shops are also good where you can make all types of shopping in very reasonable price

Activities & things to do: My suggession would be if you are making a quick trip for one or two days then do not plan for sight seeing.Enjoy to the fullest only the beach and definately visit Gour Bihar

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: If you are planning for a week or so then book for sight seeing with any of the travel agents its ok.Never try to go too deep in the beach. As far as travel tips are concerned in today's world go to the google search you will get an answer to all your qurries.Thanx to Holiday IQ

Jabalpur Experience: Nice little town. two destination was good. Marble rock view was awesome and was the river narmada. one can spent whole day just visiting these 2 places only.

Jabalpur Experience: Jabalpur is a good tourist destination. Tourism need be developed in Jabalpur. Proper facilities for inside city travel are not available.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food etc is available in Indian Coffee house.

Activities & things to do: Travel to tourist spots Bheda Ghat, Gauri Ghat, Dhoonadhar, Shiv Shankar etc.

Jabalpur Experience: Nice place to visit. It is better to visit the place in the winter.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Fooding is excellent. Sight-seeing like Marvel Rocks, Dhoa-dhar are really attractive.

Activities & things to do: It will be helpful to hire car after consulting the Travel Desk of the hotel.

Jabalpur Experience: I stayed there only for 2 days. Hence I could visit only Bedaghat & Bargi Dam. But you can also visit Bandhavgarh National park & Kanha National park from here.

Jabalpur Experience: Place is quite good specially Beda Ghat is a worth to see place. Place is well connected to rest of the India.

Jabalpur Experience: We can visit Bhedaghat and Bandhavgarh. These places are very good to see.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You get good food like Kachori Banake and many more. You can have Goob Jam at stalls and other items like Gajak.Bandhavgarh Safari is very good. Bhedaghat is also Good.

Jabalpur Experience: I came from Pachmari by road 4hrs. Journey. Also can travel by rail neer station Jabalpur or by air where it is connected.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good. For local sight seeing you can visit Dhuadhar Falls,Temples, Marbel Rock, Rani Durgavati Fort, Dam, And Shivji statue of more than 40 ft.

Jabalpur Experience: Excellent.n jabbal pur u must see the great dhuadhar water falls of river narmada which was augmented from amrkantak one of the best water falls in India i have ever seen. one should experience of murbell rock through boating it is also a great experience.

Activities & things to do: in jabbal pur u must see the great dhuadhar water faals of river narmada which was augmented from amarkontok one of the best water falls in india i have ever seen. one shoud experience of murbell rock through boating it is also a great ex perience.

Jabalpur Experience: It a very nice place to visit. it was my second visit. boating at Veraghat was wonderful. I may go the place again. Marbal rock of this place is really wonderful.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Vegetable court of hotel Vijan place was very memorable. they serve delicious food. Still we discus in our house about those food.

Activities & things to do: one can have excellent boating experience at veraghat. One newly build city Kachner city very nice city & township one can see.

Jabalpur Experience: You can have access to some of the wildlife parks from here and experience the 'Dhuandhar' waterfalls and marble rocks

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Plenty of restaurant serving quality food. All major brands are available. One special item I liked most was Paneer Jalebi, though in terms of popularity Khoya Jalebi is also very famous.

Jabalpur Experience: Ranidurgawati was a queen of Gond kingdom in central India ruled Gond kingdom after death of her husband Dalpatshah on behalf of her son Veernarayan.She fought with Asafkhan bravely near Naraenala 20 km away from Jabalpur city.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Bargi Dam & Mekal Resort of MP Tourism is 11km away from Ranidurgawati samadhi sthal.

Jabalpur Experience: At Bhedaghat, a place 30 kms away from Jabalpur,the Narmada river flows down from the water fall and proceeds through rocks which are of marbles. The water fall draws the name 'Dhuandhar' as the plunging water is sprinkled giving the effect of 'DHUAN'.The river then cuts through the marble rocks The view is spectacular and mesmerizing.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: At Bhedaghat, the food availibility is limited as it is tinsel town. However there couple of food outlets and the taste is good.Dhuandhar, Marble rock, Chausath Yogini Temple are worth seeing.

Activities & things to do: The boating through marble rocks is a must. One will be mesmerised by the view of the river flowing through rocks. Preferrably go for boating during sun rise or sun set.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Jabalpur is easily accessed by rail, road and air. From Jabalpur one can hire taxi, auto to reach Bhedaghat which is 32 kms from Jabalpur.

Jabalpur Experience: Its a city, very different from ones like Mumbai. There are so many places to visit in and around Jabalpur.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: A variety of foods is available. Especially near Russel Square, there are various good hotels ( Samdariya, Arihant Palace, Shikhar Palace ). The food of Arihant is especially good.

Activities & things to do: The first thing that no one should miss is visiting Bhedaghat. Dhuandhar falls are amazing. Also not to miss the Marble rocks, and the boat ride along the serene path of the Narmada. Bargi dam, Chausath Yogini etc are other nice places to visit. Other things you could do is - visit the Kanha National Park ( about 150 km ).

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: There are lots of trains from Mumbai to Jabalpur. e.g Mahanagri Express, Gorakhpur Express, Rajendranagar Express. Takes about 16 hrs. One thing to warn - while returning to Mumbai from Jabalpur, we had reserved a ticket in 2nd class in Mahanagri Express. The compartment was horrible, very filthy, totally crowded and there was no space even to walk. The TTE was totally noncooperative, and let all ticketless/reservationless travellers stay in the trains(after taking his commission).

Kanha and Bandhavgarh - two of the famous national parks near Jabalpur. Mala Devi Mandir - dedicated to Mala Devi or Goddess Laxmi, the temple was built in the 12th century. Pisan Hari Jain Temple - more than 150 years old, this temple is a great Jain pilgrimage center. Roopnath - famous for the Shiva lingam. Tilwara Ghat - the place has immense significance in India's struggle for freedom. The venue of the Tripuri Congress, 1939, Tilwara Ghat is the place where Bapuji\'s ashes were plunged into the Narmada river. Rani Durgavati Memorial and Museum - this wonderful place has a collection of historical artifacts. The place has been named after Rani Durgavati - the great queen of Jabalpur. Sadar Market is the Exclusive Market. Gorakhpur, Kamaniaya Gate are the best shopping Deals one can have. in a nutshell There is every thing for every one in Jabalpur.

Activities & things to do: Boat Raiding in second longest River in India (Narmada) at Bhedaghat is at a short drive from Jabalpur city, distance about 25 km from the city cente. Also it is the best way to spend a romantic evening in Full moon light.

How to Reach By Air: Jabalpur has an airport but it\'s temporarily closed for renovations. Bhopal (335 km) is the major airport from Jabalpur, connecting it with major cities of India. By Rail: Jabalpur is located on the Mumbai-Howrah (via Allahabad) rail route. It has regular trains to Mumbai, Satna, Varanasi, Allahabad and Bhopal. By Road: Jabalpur has a good road networks and is well connected by road with Bhopal, Indore, Satna, Raipur and Nagpur.

Jabalpur Experience: Bhedaghat is a nice little place on the banks of holy river Narmada. Narmada flow in narrow, calm riverbed surrounded by beautiful marble rocks. Marbles in different colors - blue, pink, white & grey are in plenty. Quiet, away from typical tourists crowd.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Boating in the Narmada river to explore these marble rocks is A MUST. 60 minutes ride in still calm waters is really enjoyable. A km away is a big waterfall with milky white water plunging done with a big roar. Artifacts of soap stones (softer marbles) with your personalized names carved on it (believe me- within 5 minutes flat) are good souveneirs and forms good long lasting gifts for near & dear ones

Jabalpur Experience: About 30 kms from railway station, can be reached by any means(buses to taxis)

Marble rock is a passage of water flanked on both sides by naturally cut marble huge rocks,boats are there to take you from one end to othher and come back again leaving you exclaiming all along..do not miss it my friend.--Small shopping of local handicrafts goods.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Many direct trains to Jabalpur from many parts of India, Cheap and good hotels for ordinary person like me!!

Jabalpur Experience: It is about 15 kms from Jabalpur and about 2 kms from Bhedaghat. Here the Narmada river flows quietly after coming down from Bhedaghat falls. It flows in between towering mountains of marbles in different shades. There is no entry ticket and you have to climb down about 50 steps to reach the ghat where you can hire a boat for ride.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There is nothing much to eat. There are shops selling marble items. The best thing to purchase is 3D paintings depicting the marble rocks. We bought a painting of size about 24 inches * 14 inches with Italian frame for Rs.1500.00.

Activities & things to do: The boat ride in special seat boat costs Rs.460.00 for 30-45 minutes of ride. We didnt enjoy the ride because it was late evening and got pretty dark. The best time to reach there is 4-5pm.
