Jaisalmer Experience: It was my long cherished desire to see the Sonar kella and the desert since I have seen Satyajit Roy's movie. But kella should be taken over by our ASI otherwise it is very crowded by it habitants. Beautiful architecture. There are some old havelis which has really wonderful architecture too. The sunset at desert and night at tent is memorable.

Jaisalmer Experience: Jaisalmer is the real rajasthan it is a city which is in a palace the city is well connected with road the main attraction is the SAM SAND DUNES 30 km from main city u reach there and u just want to b here for long tents to stay local food, local music evrything amazing life time experience why do go abroad India is amazing!!

Jaisalmer Experience: beautiful unique dessert experience which u dont get anywhere else in India... a must visit. Stay in a dessert camp to feel the real dessert experience. lots of antique stuff to buy too.

Jaisalmer Experience: jaisalmer is one of the best destination for holidays in india. with lovely surrounding and food this place is awesome to visit. for all those history loving people the jaisalmer is beautiful place to hang out.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: all the forts and palace are lovely to watch and it is very important to know their history behind it. but the desert saffari is one of the best attraction of the jaisalmer wich should not miss by the visitor.

Activities & things to do: visitors must go on the desert saffari.

Jaisalmer Experience: jaisalmer as u know is a desert place but is rich in culture and heritage. the ambiance of the place is breath taking the hospitality of the people of that place is really very nice worth every penny u spend.

Jaisalmer Experience: Excellent heritage buildings, reasonably well maintained mainly due to Private initiative rather than ASI or other other Govt agencies. Could be easily better if town's sewerage system is streamlined & maintained. A large percent of the population depends upon tourism both indigenous & Foreign as a means of livelihood, but can contribute to this by helping keep the place clean. Connectivity is also reasonably okay.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The main attraction is of course the Fort. A few decent restaurants are present, mainly serving local fare. The desert experience not to be missed which is at Sam, about 40 Km from the town. Resorts for this are available, but could be steep in price depending on the time of the year.

Activities & things to do: Stay at the Sam for the desert experience available as part of packages when booking your passage & stay.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Best time to travel to this & other towns in Rajasthan is from November to Feb end. Can be reached directly by air soon, but for now Jaipur is the best bet for a Volvo bus ride

Jaisalmer Experience: Good place to visit. But only for a day or two It's a small place n there is not much to do! The roads are amazing if anyone plans a road trip..

Jaisalmer Experience: Such a dirty place. i shudder to think what impression the foreigners who visit here must be carrying back with them.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Avoid the city just visit the sand dunes and go.

Activities & things to do: The sand dunes are worth a visit. we stayed there and the sunrise and sunset were amazing.In the city apart from seeing the fort nothing much to do.

Jaisalmer Experience: The trip was ok.Food facilities were not upto the mark.We have thought that we will get very tasty rajasthani food in tha camp but it was not given to the tourists.Water problem was also there but one can understand this problem n compromise in it but not in food as after doing such a long journey one feels hungry and want some quality food but food was not upto that level.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The Best reataurant was The Bikaner Restaurant.The food they were serving was very tasty.the best attraction was the Desert and the camel ride.for shopping the market near tha patwa haveli was ok.

Activities & things to do: camel riding was the best among all and the show which was shown in the camp was remarkable.

Jaisalmer Experience: The Golden City is worth touring as it offers a chance to tourist to visit the desert. The Jain temples and the haveli's are worth a look going the distance...

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Most sold items are made of the golden sandstone worth a collection. Do not forget to bargain!! Try the RTDC hotel serves only bengali thali and its really delicious..

Activities & things to do: Do not miss the camel ride at the sand dunes do not take jeep / car right upto the end ask your Camp manager to arrange camel ride ....

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: I travelled by train and found it very comfortable..... though the train reaches early morning, but the hotel staff will surely send the cars to pick you up.

Jaisalmer Experience: The destination is full hot and one of my favorite place in India and rajsthan i like to suggests my friend visit many more time

Jaisalmer Experience: Jaisalmer A small and peaceful city with yellow stones which shines in sunrise. approx221 km. away from jodhpur(via train) . if u want to feel this place ,u should came in train. people which r interested in visiting historical places, jaisalmer is one of the best tour point for those lucky people.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: September to April is the best season for visitors How to reach:-3 trains from jodhpur(in which 2 comes from Delhi) u can came via bus, train, private vehicle, u can come via flight till jodhpur. warning:- if u wanna come in summer season then be careful that u can bear that situations.(summer season:-June-august). enjoy trip,happy journey.....:)

Jaisalmer Experience: the destination was nice with everything gold in colour. but the environment of the sum was full of pollution but the experience of camel ride was fabulous

Jaisalmer Experience: Jaisalmer is an old city thriving on tourism as its main bussiness. Good rajasthani shopping can be done here for sheesha work on clothes, cushion covers etc.

Jaisalmer Experience: It was a lovely experience visiting Jaisalmer the distance is a bit of dampener but once on reaching that place it was all fun.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The Dinner we had at the resort was excellent but the breakfast was nothing to remember or write about

Activities & things to do: A visit to the Golden Fort is a must do what is interesting is that it's the only living fort in India. It has got some interesting shopping restaurants etc. In the evening a visit to the SAM sand dunes is the highlight of the visit to Rajisthan the Camel ride and the lovely sun set in all its glory and colors is just unforgettable experience.

Jaisalmer Experience: A beautiful and mystifying destination both for couples and for family travelers. The place is a perfect conglomeration of rustic sand dunes and royalty of the Rajputs.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Excellent Rajasthani cuisine both veg and non veg available through out. One must not miss the delicacy called 'laal maas'. Tendered mutton chops in red chilli curry with hot rotis. One must stay at night in the desert. There are numerous camps where one can spend a beautiful night in the desert. Its an amazing experience. One must visit the Jaisal Fort. It is the only living Fort in the world and for shopaholics there are plenty of souvenir shops to buy local artifacts.

Activities & things to do: One shouldn't miss the camel ride or a camel cart ride in the desert. Spending a night in the desert is the best possible way to explore the deserts at night. It is quite safe.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: One should carry lots of sun screen lotions as the days are very hot but for nights one must take light woolens as nights are quite cold. One must drink loads of water as due to extreme heat the body gets dehydrated easily and another trick to keep one's body specially stomach to be in right condition is to have chillies and onion with food. Green chillies are rich source of vitamins and onions keep the stomach cool.
