Is it possible to get a shared taxi or bus from Joshimath to Mussoorie? We will be going to Joshimath during mid October for 2 nights. We are planning to visit Mussoorie from Joshimath and to stay at Mussoorie for 3 nights. As per my knowledge Joshimath is well connected with Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dehradun. It will take extra 1 night as the distance from Joshimath will take almost 9 hours. It would be very good if we can directly go to Mussoorie from Joshimath. Please help.

b) Is there a single route or multiple routes for the trek and which one is the best ?
c) Can I cover the distance in one day ?
d) Is night driving feasible/permissible in that trek ?
