Kamshet Experience: kamshet is ideal for those who just want to get disconnected from life its a small village if you can all that located next to a dam or reservoir. there are a couple of hotels that cater to paragliders who flock to kamshet not much to do here other than wading and swimming in the reservoir. of course one can read while swinging on a hammock under the shade of a tree and catching forty winks

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is the basic fare at your hotel so no miracles here native place has a package with food so no ala-carte.... sightseeing and shopping as agendas should be left back at home

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Get off the mumbai pune expressway at the exit after lonavala and then proceed on the old bombay puna highway. leave the road at kamshet and take the internal road to the resorts in kamshet....

Kamshet Experience: Kamshet is famous for being excellent for paragliding activities and an adventurous weekend. But the Vadivali Lake also offers a great opportunity to have a relaxed, chilled out weekend away from the noise & chaos of Mumbai. The absolutely breathtaking beauty of the lake was just perfect to relax, unwind and clear out your head.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Stayed at Native Place which offers all meals within the price of the stay - delicious, home-cooked food. There are small treks, walks that one can do just around the property. We also ventured out to nearby Karla to see the pretty amazing Karla caves.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Via the Mumbai-Pune highway. The lake is about 10 kms off the main highway on an extremely bad dirt road. Better to take a hired car or then drive very very slowly on the dirt road.
