Kawardha, also known as Kabirdham, is a district situated in Chhattisgarh. It is popular for an ancient temple at Bhoramdeo which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Bhoramdeo was once the capital of the Nagwanshi rulers. The ancient temple at Bhoramdeo is situated very close to the Radha Krishna temple, Madwa Mahal and Madan Manjari Mahal.
Another prime attraction of the district is the Madwa Mahal, also known as Dulhadeo. It is basically a Shiva temple shaped like a marriage pandal. According to local belief, Madwa Mahal was built as a memorial of the wedding of the Nagwanshi King Ramchandra Deo and the Haihawanshi Queen. The Kanha National Park, home to more than 200 bird species, is another tourist attraction of the region.
