Kaziranga Experience: If anyone loves forest, it cannot be better than KAZIRANGA The NILGIRI hills forming the backdrop, the raw beauty of forest with bison, one horned rhino, elephant families and innumerable deers I LOVE KAZIRANGA

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Kaziranga itself is a paradise... just enjoy the forest, the nature, the inhabitants of that nature and the smell of that untouched trees and plants... you can actually relate yourself being a part of nature far away from the maddening crowds of metros

Activities & things to do: Zone wise jungle safaris are conducted in early mornings and afternoons in elephant backs and jeeps Do not miss any one, or you will left repenting the whole life. the memories of early morning safari on elephant back and late afternoon safari in jeep is something you will take back home.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Carry good mosquito repellant and check in a hotel after checking about their service and staffs.

Kaziranga Experience: Kaziranga is a good destination. Public transport are few, you have to hire your vehicle from Guwahati. Roads are good

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Few hotels are there. We stayed at Aryana which is owned by Govt of Assam and close to the forest

Activities & things to do: Elephant safari, and jeep safari can be taken for jungle tour. If possible go to the Dolphin area on Brambhaputra river.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Lot of rush for elephant safari utter chaos regarding allotment during rush season. No proper allotment procedure followed. Further Kaziranga remains open from Nov to April Sighting tiger is practically impossible but you can enjoy the beauty of the jungle which is a huge area.

"Trip to Kaziranga Forest"

Kaziranga Experience: Kaziranga forest in Assam is a very good place to vist specially for the animal loving and nature loving people. This place adorned with natural beaulty and variety of wild animals like one horned rinhos, elephants, wild buffellos Tigers, birds etc.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Good number of Govt. & Pvt lodge, hotel & resorts are available at reasonable price. Jeep and elephant safari in various ranges of forest are the main attractions of the place.

Activities & things to do: Jeep safari for 2.30 to 3 hours. Elephant safari in the morning.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Distance from Guwahati is approx 230 km. Private Taxi ( Indica, Indigo, Innova, Sumo) are available from Guwahati to reach Kaziranga.

Kaziranga Experience: Kaziranga is the only place in India where we can find the one-horned rhino. fantastic place for a holiday. Adds to the fun is Aaranya Rest House - value for money.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The only attraction is the one-horned rhino along with a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Activities & things to do: Jeep safari, elephant rides.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Easiest way is to travel to Jorhat by air, rail or road and then get a cab to Kaziranga which is just a 2 hours drive from here.

"Jungle Safari"

Kaziranga Experience: Nice place. Really thrilling inside Kaziranga. The greenary, Calm Rhinos, Xcitement of all after seeing the elephants. Jungle safari was awesome with water body running side by side of the kaccha road. The gypsum safari was xciting and felt like no jungle can be as beautiful as this one.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: All arrangements were there in Bon Habi Resort. I was in a relaxing tour and njoyed the greenary and silence along with the jungle.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Ghy Rly Stn 250 kms. Takes 4 to 5 hrs by tata indica.

Kaziranga Experience: very nice place to visit again and again loved the weather

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: awesome food enjoyed elephant ride jeep safari and some local stuff to buy

Activities & things to do: fishing carrom billiard to play in the hotel

Kaziranga Experience: Ambiance is good , good connectivity from Gauhati however on way facilities are lacking in terms of food

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Sight seeing of kaziranga national park is great the rhinos , elephant ride and rear bird sighting make your trip memorable however food can be better

Activities & things to do: Safari. And bird watching

Kaziranga Experience: Nice place to visit elephant rides safari much more to watch book iora hotel

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not meant for shopping though bird watching was most pleasant.

Activities & things to do: Village watch elephent ride cycling.

Kaziranga Experience: We visited Khaziranga National park during October. Though we missed seeing the Rhinos inside the national park, (as the park opens only after Nov 1) we had a great time moving around near Khaziranga.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food we took in small hotels. It was good.

Activities & things to do: Elephant ride and many things

Kaziranga Experience: It was great experience and i want to visit with my family once again. Safari rides were good but not as good as i was thinking.

Kaziranga Experience: Its great, plenty of Rhinos, swamp and hog deer, elephants, wild boars, bisons. The wildlife is easily noticed.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: We stayed in Wild Grass County and they took care of everything. Food was fantastic. The wild life safari is very well organized. Both jeep and elephant safari is a must do.

Activities & things to do: Wild life and food and Tea, nothing much otherwise. In fact, do not waste time on anything else.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Be prepared to spend a reasonable amount on to and fro from Guwahati (3K one way). It is unavoidable I feel, if you want a good and comfortable trip

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: First you have to book a cab from guahati/dibrugarh. Elephant safari and jeep safari must be book at the time hotel booking,Try to start jungle safari at noon. Try to cover national park from central zone,westerm zone and east zone.The variety of animal and bird are alter zone wise.

Kaziranga Experience: The kazhiranga trip was very interesting, because we were in government bus they also very helping people. also it was very easy to find out our hotel. the hotel located at in front of main road.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Kazhiranga national park i enjoyed well. specially elephant safari was too interesting. food also very nice to eat. clean and best service.

Kaziranga Experience: God gift to human for enjoying nature where one can observe one horn rhino, hornbill, pelican, bengal florican, scarlet minivate etc

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Its ok, the traditional food items are great

Activities & things to do: Jeep safari and elephant safari is wonderful

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is nearly 230 km from guwahati 100 km from Jorhat which are connect with other cities of India through Air, Rail and Road.

Kaziranga Experience: Good Location for Family specially with Kids. The location is very Good and approach is very much on the Highway.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The food quality was good and the most enjoying moments was the Elephant safari where the visibility of wild life was very much encouraging from a very near distance. The Jeep safari was also Good but it was too dusty and specially for minor kid its can be very disturbing.

Activities & things to do: Morning hours can be spent of wild life safari and the noon can be utilized for the Jeep safari. Evening you can enjoy leisurely in the Hotel.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Kaziranga is very near to Guwahati, just 3 and 1/2 hrs drive by Car. Travel agents are available with whom you can bargain for better deals for stay and wild life safari.

Kaziranga Experience: Excellent outing which must include the zeep safari particularly during sunset

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Stayed at IORA...excellent place to stay and the local flavour of food at Bhaatban restaurant not to be missed

Activities & things to do: not much activities to do...just enjoy the scenic and natural beauty

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: flight to Jorhat and book a cab from there..only 75-80 km from jorhat..take camera having good lens capacity which is handy during zeep safari..else u might miss a tiger or a rare bird in the distance

Kaziranga Experience: Those who love forest safari, this is one of the ideal place where the wild animals roam about freely in their natural habitat. deer, one horn rhino, bison are the main animals found there. the safari is one hour on elephant.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: In aranya lodge, the cost of food is cheap from the local market. the quality and quantity is also good. other than forest there is no local sight seeing or shopping. the cost of local handicraft is higher than in guahati.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: kaziranga is well connected by roadways. it takes 5-6 hours to reach kaziranga from guwahati.
