Kodaikanal Experience: The place is nice and it is a must visit for the viewers who love scenic beauty.You would really enjoy the atmosphere during the winters and the places around to visit.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was good and the most favorite part were the handmade chocolates which were so yummy and it melted in the mouth.The dark chocolate was so tasty that we were unable to finish one cup of it.

Activities & things to do: Trekking shopping boating hanging out exploring new things full of adventure

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is easy to reach here by bus or train or private cabs which ever is comfortable for the tourists.

Kodaikanal Experience: Climate was very good and it's very cool.

Kodaikanal Experience: Kodaikanal is a very good place especially during the months of April-May. Its an escape from the summer heat in Kerala. The place is neat and there are many places that one can just walk and see. The best part is that one never feels tired. There is a hell lot of activities like horse riding, boating, cycling, trekking, sight-seeing etc. Coakers walk, Kodaikanal Lake, Bryant Park, Suicide Point, Guna Caves are a few good must-see places in Kodai

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There is a good variety of restaurants that offer food of varied tastes. Royal Tibet is the best among the lot. Their Mixed Noodle Thupka, Chicken Spring Rolls, Chicken Momos, Tibetan Bread, Chilli Beef Fry, Ginger Honey tea is superb. The service is excellent and cost is reasonable. Then there is a Punjabi Dhaba. The lassi is excellent there. The tandoor items are also good. Astoria veg restaurant has good south indian meals. The Pear Cake in Pastry Corner cannot just be missed. It gets ready at around 4pm and gets over in minutes. Their fruit preserves are also a must buy.

Kodaikanal Experience: Kodai hills provide the much needed fresh air and oxygen. The lake is beautiful and one can do cycling around the lake without much complaints and climate is just awesome. Berijam Lake / Forest tour is the best.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Astoria-Veg Hill Top's Dakshin Resturant for Kerala kind of food. There are other punjabi food joints which are pretty good.

Activities & things to do: Cycling, Boating, morning and evening walk at Coaker's Walk. Trek at Dolphins nose.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Nearest Airport is Madurai - around 115 Kms. Nearest Railway station is Kodai Road around 80 Kms from Kodaikanal. There are few buses which ply to Chennai and Bengaluru! KSRTC Volvo and Rajhamsa ply on a daily basis.

Kodaikanal Experience: lake and park was very nice to enjoy bread egg omelt to eat very super dish masala tea shopping to chidrens like toys purmudes

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: homemade chochate and tea have diffrent taste to eat

Activities & things to do: cycle riding and horse riding is famouse

Kodaikanal Experience: Great place to visit. Not as commercialised as Ooty and that is the good thing about kodaikanal. Food is the regular type in all hill stations. Nothing unique to kodai. The small thatchet hotel in the guided tour was good.

Kodaikanal Experience: The smell of nature is exotic . The flowers are fresh . The view is beautiful. The hills are adventurous..

Kodaikanal Experience: Our trip was good ...we enjoyed a lot over ter. .. lodging and hotels a good food facilities anf wit best price ...

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was been ordered in the lodge and it was good..and many place was attractive n was very good climate ,and v had shopping ter..

Activities & things to do: Many intersting places to enjoy of all ages they good season to go is october to January

Kodaikanal Experience: The place was calm , people there are friendly , nice place to go with your friends.Home made chocolates was a huge thing when I went, brought a few sweaters and jackets . Remenber to bargain .We went to all the parks nearby stayed till dusk. It was a very pleasant place to visit .

Kodaikanal Experience: I would recommend ppl to go. You could make new friends during the Holiday Activity and have fun just like you have come on a group of your own friends. The climate was very nice. The lake and other sightseeing places add up to your activities.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The Lake, Lake, Lake it's so great. All the fun around the lake adds to all the fun. The Horse & Bicycle ride is also a nice fun around the lake.

Activities & things to do: The Lake, Lake, Lake around the lake.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Only on road. Train only till Kodi road or erode, coimbatore, karur. By Air to Coimbatore or Maduari.

Kodaikanal Experience: reached on 01 may.in the morning went to cookers walk and bryan park. came back to hotel had lunch and in the evening went to lake. had horse riding and cycling with my daughter. next full day visited vaious sight seeing in kodaikanl. on 03 may went to boating for 1 hour at 10 am in the morning

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: astoria veg, hill top restaurant, pakwanwala

Activities & things to do: purchased home made chocolates, pure honey, spices

Kodaikanal Experience: A beautiful destination, especially to beat the heat. we experienced all kinds of weather in a single day, be it sun, rain, or cold weather.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: there are some very good eateries which offer good food.Non veg is a rarity & exorbitantly priced, but veg food is in plenty & of a huge variety.you get northindian, south indian, chinese , pizzas etc.

Activities & things to do: you can visit the kodai lake which is beautiful.you can hire a bi-cycle to go around the lake.it takes easily 45 minutes to cover the lake.there are plenty of eatables around the lake & you can do a lot of shopping especially for chocolates, you can have roasted corn, vadas, idlys, bajjis , boiled peanuts, tea & coffee available all around the lake.you can also go boating.there are places like coakers walk, byrant park, pine forest & many more destinations for sight seeing.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: If you are travelling from bangalore, the best option is to take a KSRTC Volvo bus (WHICH CHARGES A NOMINAL FEES COMPARED TO PRIVATE OPERATORS) but the luxury is the same.It starts off from bangalore shanti nagar bus-stand (near wilson garden) at 10-15pm & arrives at kodai between 8 & 9 am.Carry warm clothes as it is a must. for people who have a vomiting sensation during traveling thro the GHAT section please carry avomin or domstal tabs.An extremely good place with very co-operative people.

Kodaikanal Experience: Very good hill station and superb climate. Forest trip was awesome (Berizam lake). Enjoy nice cycling and boating experience on Kodai Lake.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food: Astoria Veg for vegetarian. Sight Seeing: Don't miss Berizam lake. I like cycling on Kodai lake thought it was not very safe.

Activities & things to do: Cycling on Kodai Lake. Evening walk on coakers walk.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Try to plan relax trip. Book nice hotel and enjoy the climate.

Kodaikanal Experience: Kodaikanal is an amazing place to visit. It's situated @7500 Ft above sea level & anyone who like cold climatic conditions will definately love this place. There are a lot of places to see around Kodai & it will easily take 3-4 days to cover all the natural scenic places around Kodai

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was okay as per what I got. I stayed there for 3 days & everytime I tried different different resturants over there. Some of them have good food but less quantity. Some of them provide good quantity but not so tasty & some if them were tasty but highly priced.

Activities & things to do: You have boat riding, cycling, horse riding, trekking.. etc., but do keep in mind that all of these activities will be open from 10 or 11 till 3 in the evening

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Train - From Kodai railway station, need to book a taxi & they will charge 1200 for Off Season & 1300-1500 in Seasons

Kodaikanal Experience: Kodaikanal is a must visit place in Tamilnadu. We can relax our mind in the fresh air and it is a serene place to be joyful. One will definitely be cheerful during the visit to kodaikanal.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: In-side Restaurant of Sterling Valley View is good which provides delicious food. Coaker's Walk, Lake and Garden are the superb place to visit. The shops around the Lake provide real happiness and satisfaction for those who love shopping.

Activities & things to do: Trekking, Boating and Horse Riding.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Erode, it's through Kangayam, Tharapuram, Pazhani and Kodaikanal. We should drive carefully in Hill areas.

Kodaikanal Experience: enjoyable place where various places to see such as bryant park, lake around horse riding, cycling, walking, Boating. And coakers walk with full of mist.

Kodaikanal Experience: Kodaikanal is a really good place. You can do cycling around the lake and can visit pine forest etc.

Kodaikanal Experience: put all kind of adjectives with Kodaikanal.... Kk is full of scenic Coaker park, Bryant Park, Big Hospital, Church, lovely cottages n resorts they all are walkable and People are good there go and shop handicraft and choclates made there. Do horse riding, cycling and boating. If you want to enjoy the nature it is only possible with cycling :)

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are loads of Hotels (2 star) but we did not find good so go to resort typed hotel and you find good n tasty food we liked our hotel food also :)

Kodaikanal Experience: it is very nice to see the kodaikanal mainly it is very nice to couples. because it is very coll. site seeing very important in this place and who enjoy nature, for them kodaikanal is very beautiful spot for them.and who like hil stations for them also it is very convienient.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: here shopping, and markets also very good like oils, tea powders etc. here they wil be available.

Activities & things to do: in hotels for couples they want to exteand the facilities.
