"best place"

Kumbhalgarh Experience: Nice place. Close to the promenade. Worth staying. Food not so great, but you have a lot of good restaurants near by.Rooms are clean but the only problem is, you will not be able to open the windows to have a fresh breeze as the windows open up to the street. Except that everything else is fine
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Someone told me that when you go to India you must put you life into God’s hands and it certainly feels that way especially in any vehicle in any city, village, toll road or narrow country road in India. The traffic and honking is amazing. If there are three lanes there will be 5 or 6 vehicles across all trying to force their way through honking all the way.
Activities & things to do: We also visited the museum holding the antique car collection of the current maharaja-a lot of Mercedes, Rolls Royces and Model T Fords. We had lunch at a local dive that our leader knew of which was a different experience. I had a soca, a chick pea crepe, stuffed with potatoes and a great fresh pinapple drink done in a blender so it was thick.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It was a neat experience eating our dinner on the rooftop looking up at the fort lit up above. The meal was all vegetarian with tiny little eggplants and some delicious carrots.

"Lovely Moments in Life"

Kumbhalgarh Experience: Kumbhalgarh is an excellent place if you want to enjoy peace amidst nature, spend lovely time with your family and create wonderful memories for your self. All this and much more you can get by just traveling a very short distance. In case wild life and birds appeal you, you can also get your share of fun. Also Nathadwara, the holy temple of Srinathji is around 60 kms away. I have visited Kumbhalgarh twice, don't mind going again and again.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Club Mahindra- Fort Kumbhalgarh and Aodhi Hotel are the best hotels in this place. Both times I stayed at Club Mahindra- Fort Kumbhalgarh . Food served at this hotel is excellent, you name it and the chef prepares it. Ambiance of the hotel is also very beautiful. Hospitality here is at its best. Husbands and fathers will be pleased to know that there is nothing to shop here. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Aravalli ranges and Kumbhalgarh Fort are a must viist places.
Activities & things to do: Swimming in the resort, spending time with family playing indoor games, visiting the fort and the sanctuary.. Doing these things, you will never know how beautifully your time is spent.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can reach either by travelling to Udaipur-by road or rail. It is around one hour from Nathadwara.

Activities & things to do: Fort Trekking and relaxing in a good hotel

"Off beat from the usual off beat destinations"

Kumbhalgarh Experience: It is a beautiful place with all the hotels in the hills (you may choose from a limited number of hotels depending on your budget). The weather is just perfect for all seasons! A place which has it all - river, fort, hills, wild life sanctuary..what else could one ask for, and is still near to the big city - Udaipur (in case of God forbid, any emergencies). Meet the locals, eat local food, fresh milk and curd!
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Visit the Wildlife Sanctuary..take a jeep tour. Your hotel will be able to arrange it for you. Visit the Kumbalgarh fort (do hire a guide to understand the history) and make sure you visit the fort in the evening for the light and sound show.
Activities & things to do: Visit the fort, engage in the tour of wildlife sanctuary.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is just about 3-4 hours distance from Udaipur by road and the roads are pretty decent.

"kumbhalgarh nice place to visit"

Kumbhalgarh Experience: Kumbhalgarh is a very nice place to visit. Fort lighting at night is excellent. Jungle safari is not so worth only if you can reach crocodile park.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: If you are staying at Club Mahindra resort and being a member then food is good but its a bit costly but your stay in Aodhi is too costly. There is no other good restaurant there. So keep a bit of food with you.
Activities & things to do: You can do jungle safari and visit fort there. Also Ranakpur temple is 60 kms from Kumbhalgarh. You can also do jungle safari early in the morning or evening but is not too worth it.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: By Udaipur and via Nathdawara also. Udaipur ( Sukhadia circle to Fathehpur Choraya. Go for 100 mtr straight and then left turn for Iswal, Losing, Barwara, Odda, Kelwara. From Kelwara its takes 4-5 km and if you go by Nathdawara turn before Kankroli for Kelwara.

"The Unconquered"

Kumbhalgarh Experience: This destination is for the traveller who wants to sample history in peace. Kumbhalgarh is accessible from Udaipur and has excellent roads. It is a perfect getaway from Udaipur and has scenic views on the way. It is a historical delight with Haldighati, Ranakpur, etc at close quarters. It is probably least commercialized among all towns of Rajasthan.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: As this is not commercialized, there are not much restaurants but the Aodhi Hotel serves amazing food though has 7 star rates. Would suggest the amazing variety on the Indian menu and do sample their starters.
Activities & things to do: A historical site, Kumbhalgarh has Haldighati and Ranakpur at a driving distance. The museum at Haldighati is worth visiting as it brings you close to history. The enthusiasm of the musuem guides is worth saluting. Kumbhalgarh itself as the name suggests has the fort to be seen both at day and in the evening. The illumination in the evening is a photographers delight. The fort unlike other forts of the country is least polluted and is very well maintained.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: A drive from Udaipur is comfortable. Winter travel would be recommended like all towns in Rajasthan. Udaipur is connected by air, rail and road from all major cities.
