Loni-Kand is a small town situated in the Pune District of Maharashtra. It lies at an elevation of 1909 m above sea level and is located at a distance of 20.2 km from the city of Pune.
It lies close to many well known towns of the region such as Pune, Haveli, Khed, Purandar, Tulapur, Alandi and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Amongst these towns, Tulapur is its nearest one and is known for its attractions like Sangameshwar Temple and the samadhi of Sambhaji.
