"Excellent beach and fun with family"

  • 6/7
  • Posted Sep 20, 2013
It was a calm beach. Life guards present for any emergencies. And the best part was the overall beauty of the beach. With backwater (rain water) flowing in the beach and plenty of space there is a lot we could do with the family. We were here early in the morning and had an excellent time at the beach with the family.

"Super Refreshing Beach Holiday"

  • 7/7
  • Posted Sep 19, 2013
I am a regular traveller to Goa. It is one of my ever favourite destinations in India. I love the quiet and calm beaches, hence Majorda is my favorite. If I feel the need of noise and crowds then I just go towards Colva the Commercial beach of South Goa. My Stay at Johns Highland Comfort Guest House was restful and relaxing with all modern amenities like WI FI Internet, Refrigerator, AC, Modern and Clean and Spacious Bathroom and Toilets. Lived in a Goan Village of Majorda with Goan houses surrounded all around the Guest House of Judy's. It was one superb relaxing holiday at Majorda beach.

Majorda Beach is isolated and very good beach to relax. one can spend cossy moments here with their partner. you will not get any disturbance here from other people. accommodation is easily available here. Water sports are also available here. One can get bar and restaurant very easily and at affordable price.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: sight seeing is good. water sports are available. not good for shopping as it is an isolated beach with very less crowd. restaurant and bars are easily available.

Activities & things to do: nothing much to do. no shopping.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: one can reach here by taxi or auto from railway station or airport. apprx 15 km from railway station and 20 km from airport.

"Majorda Beach"

  • Posted May 23, 2013
It was a nice peaceful beach with loads of greenery around. Way to the Majorda beach is worth a mention . You have to travel via road through lush green paddy fields. Green waves of the fields looming in winds seems to welcome you to their blue counterparts of the arabian sea. If you looking for a peaceful place away from hustle and bustle of city, to cherish beautiful moments with your partner the Majorda beach can be a place to be.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The beach is a calm rather a secluded one. with no place for shopping or eating or even people to bother you. it'll be the just 'the lord of ocean' and you.

Activities & things to do: Just sing 'OHHHH LOOOORD OF OCEAN, MAKE A HIGHHHH TIDE RISE'; unleash 'the little you' and explore the other side of GOA. :-)

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: It is advisable to hire a self driven vehicle from north goa to explore this region as its difficult to procure the same in south goa.

"A Good Family Holiday"

  • Posted Oct 27, 2012
Goa is a favourite destination for us and Majorda is always lovely. The beach is less populated and clean. also Martin's is a well-known destination and hardly a 2 minute walk-up from Alila Diwa

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Check-out Martin's and Fish-Ka as well which is just outside the hotel.

Activities & things to do: Go into town to shop local specialities and sweets.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: We usually take the train to Goa and its always a fun way to travel if you're not rushed for time.
