Mount Abu Experience: The place was beautiful and landscape was heart touching. The temples there provided peace to our souls. seeing the entire view down the valley from mount abu as the sky was clear.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: temples were awesome, riding bikes up the curvilinear slopes of the mountains and the view of the lake. all these make my journey unforgettable.

Activities & things to do: taking bikes on rent and riding up the slopes, boat ride in the lake, visiting temples and eating delicious food of the restaurant .

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: travel in feburary- march months as the weather there is awesome during this time.

Mount Abu Experience: Nice place to go with your family. Nakki Lake Dilwara temples are a must. If you are a nature lover and loves to walk just climb the stairs upto toad rock

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Dilwara temples, Nakki Lake

Activities & things to do: Have some drinks and enjoy the nature

Mount Abu Experience: Its a commercial Hill Station Not very different from other Hill Stations in the Country. But it has some good temples to visit... Overall a good place to visit for a short vacation.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The food is good. One should try the local Gujarati and Rajasthani food. Shopping is nothing different and its pretty expensive also So take your own call....

Activities & things to do: Visit the lake, the temples, market place and the mountains...

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The best way to travel is by car. There are options of hiring a car in Mount Abu also and one can also do the sightseeing on Bike is you want some adventure....

"good hill station"

Mount Abu Experience: mount abu is good hill station, I most like nakki lake and Guru shikhar. The road very danger. hotels are very costly in the mount abu.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: food is not bad but not good, Sight seeing is very good achal garh, Guru Shikhar, Nakki lake, Honeymoon point & shopping market is very costly

Activities & things to do: I like horse riding, boating

Mount Abu Experience: Mount Abu is a good place to visit. I have visited this place for 3times View of some points are so beautiful. The food and the hotels are also good. You should visit this place for once atleast in winter.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are so many places for sight seeing. You can shop a little also.

Activities & things to do: You can have boating you can go to jungle and spend some time there as well

Mount Abu Experience: Mt. Abu is a place where you'll find mixture of traditional people and latest technology and resources..

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is A Grade quality, will recommend puri bhaji and dal baati.

Activities & things to do: anything you do even sitting in lawn can please your nerves..

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: opt for a hired taxi so you can save your time and look for each and every corner..

"Nice and Relaxing"

Mount Abu Experience: Despite being a summer, the place was cool. Breeze was cool and in fact at night it was a bit cold. It is not as small town as I thought. Am sure during and post monsoon it will be even better. People are trustworthy.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Overall food was very good.

Activities & things to do: You can do lot of tracking.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: a. An hour's drive from Abu Road. b. It is far from Udaipur - more than 200km, which is the nearest airport. Even Ahmedabad airport is equally far. But there are more flights to Ahmedabad so worth driving from there. Recommended to go by train by Abu Road.

"Great Destination"

Mount Abu Experience: enjoyed the place with historic places, the creation of diwara temple was excellent the carving on marble was so precises that it took all my attention. The hotel we stayed was awsome, the interiors were too good, you can enjoy with family & friends at this place

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was good, but if u wish to really taste the rajasthani food u can enjoy at a local Dhaba which is too good

Activities & things to do: Boating & hot air Balloon where also good

Mount Abu Experience: Being from Delhi, where you've got many hill stations nearby in Himachal and Uttrakhand, going all the way to Rajasthan for mount abu was a total waste of time and money as this hill station is no where compared to hill stations in Himachal or Uttrakhand, in terms of location, weather, scenic beauty, hotel options and facilities, leisure activities.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not much option of food. Many Hotels (including ours) here serve only vegetarian. That too with gujrati touch even simple dal makhani was anything but dal dal makhani. Not many good restaurants or eating outlets on the mall road, except CCD.

Activities & things to do: There's a small lake where u can do boating. Apart from that nothing much except temples.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Nearest railway station is around 2 hrs from Abu.

Mount Abu Experience: Dilwara jain temples are main attractions, i found it quite good. amazing..

Mount Abu Experience: M.abu is a hill station. Which is a good please to visit any time for a short holiday. Their you can go tracking, sight seeing, meditation.... Or can also call it a week end distinations for gujaraties from ahmedabad, vadodara and surrounding.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You can get rajasthani food, gujarati thali, fast food, punjabi, chineese, .. And for shopping you can find good hand printed materials for dresses, shirts.. Also get materesses for flooring and much more.

Activities & things to do: Can do horse riding, go boting in nakhi lake, Visit temples, mountaning, game parlours, etc....

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Can reach their by govt. Buses. And also travels coach are available. Or can also reach their by trail till abu road and from abu road take a bus. Or can travel by your own car.

Mount Abu Experience: Abu is a nice place to stay 4-5 days in summer. Well connected by rail and road from Udaipur, Chittorgarh.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Have chance to share Gujrati Khana restaurant scattered on the hill top, hear bus stand, and in city center.

Activities & things to do: City tour, sunrise point, and some other places have nice scenic view.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Book bus ticket well in advance for good seat for nest destination. Well connected from Udaipur, Jaipur, Chittorgarh by rail/road.

Mount Abu Experience: there are so many points to see. there are same and also different to the other hill station. one can rest, enjoy and do every thing as hill station.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: saraswati lodge, arbuda restaurant, srpinn hotel for food. you like ice creams, slush as no place can provide. market is so beautiful. rajasthani craft mela is also attractive'

Activities & things to do: boating, sunset/sunrise, sightseeing and most necessary enjoy slush as much as possible

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: go to abu road by train and hire taxi for mount abu. people of gujarat maharashtra, rajasthan and madhya pradesh can go by car.

Mount Abu Experience: in winter and summer, atmosphere is best , but in summer, dont go please, cause in summer there hot too

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: food is average, nearby sites are nice and wonderfoul , sunset point is best location

Activities & things to do: boating and bike riding, and rock climbing

Mount Abu Experience: good place to visit. if staying in a budget hotel like mount winds, you have to move in only two direction to visit all the places. to the right, you could visit Arbuda devi temple, Dilwara Jain temple, Trevor's Tank, Rabit Farm, Gurushikhar and Dattatreya temple. to the left, nakki lake,sunset point, honeymoon point, ganesh temple, Toad Rock and the market.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: lots of restaurants around for food. For south indian food: Sankalp Restaurant is best. for non-veg food : Sher-e-punjab at sunset point you could get a horse ride for 50 Rs. don't miss a boat riding at Nakki lake. Also can go for a hot airbaloon ride, but too costly.

Activities & things to do: do visit Peace Park and Gyansarovar by Bhramakumari's, where you can find spirituality and peace of mind.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: if moving to abu road by train. take a jeep or ask a volvo(moving to mount abu). will charge about 30-50 Rs. to move around, rent a bike from a local guy rather than any hotel persons, will be charged about 250 Rs max.

"Hotel Sikhar & Mt Abu"

Mount Abu Experience: Mt Abu is a beatiful place and we went there during Durga Puja. Surprisingly rush was very less and we enjoyed the trip very much.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Viewing Rajasthan from Hill top, boating on Lake, viewing Aquarium and enjoying Gujrati & Rajasthani Thali. Also non veg of good quality available here. Special worked jewellary they call it kundan work are special to purchase.

Activities & things to do: Please visit Mataji ka Math while coming back or during your stay (if u r hindu)

Mount Abu Experience: nice place quiet a nice weather one of the best place of rajasthan attractive places are nakki lake and gurushikhar dilwara temple sunset point.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: favourite restaurant-CCD,CHACCH IN.. attraction-sunset point, nakki lake, dilwara temple.

Activities & things to do: boat riding

Mount Abu Experience: Very Nice place to visit in Winter season. We have to go by personnal Vehicle. Vo many places are there which are not famous but still very nice.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is very nice. Sight Seeing is very nice, Shopping not recommended.

Activities & things to do: Leave with Piece & spend atleast 02 or 03 days.
