"Best value for money"

Murudeshwara Experience: Very peacefull. This place is both for religious and pleasure trip. I prefer this to Goa as this is much less crowded and works out cheaper than Goa.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There is a pure veg restaurant built on sea on pillars between hotel and temple. Very nice view of ocean you can get. But too crowded and very disorganised. You can do some shopping with all standard items you can get at any place of piligrimage importance. You can proceed from here to Karwar and Goa (north), Udupi/Mangalore (south), Kollur Mookambika temple (east).

Activities & things to do: Now they have lot of water adventures on the sea front at very reasonable price.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Get your rooms reserved well in advance, as availability is very unpredictable. Normally sea facing rooms are slightly costlier but worth every rupee. This is on Mangalore to Bombay highway, runs parellel to Arabian Sea. As this is on highway, connectivity is never a problem.

Murudeshwara Experience: Calm beach with Shiva temple at sea shore. Very near from Mangalore.

Murudeshwara Experience: Good beach. Nice temple. Nice place for a vacation. Beach can be cleaner. Boating is good. Nice food in the hotels. Lot of them are vegetarian though.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: RNS food is good.

Activities & things to do: Boating. There is a wave pool which we couldn't use because of maintainance.

Murudeshwara Experience: nice places.. but plan well sigandoor, kodchadri, kollur, murudeshwara, gokarna etc... which cums in a same way, can visit

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: book every thing, jeep, stay, food etc which'll be economical

Activities & things to do: camphire, trek, can stay in a hut, but wont get any hot drinks

Murudeshwara Experience: I liked the place and sea beach. You can have lot of fun over there. at Big Shiv temple was attracting me.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Shiv Temple, Sea beach, street shop

Activities & things to do: You can enjoy all kind of play in sea. Stream is really very high and you can go inside.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You may book a cab as i was travelling from bangalore , I booked a cab and reached there in 8 hours .

Murudeshwara Experience: An Exciting Summer Vacation on Beaches, in case your a Devotional Person temple is well built and other locations to close by.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: RNS restaurants for veg food sea shore dhaba for sea food, visit Gokarna Close bye with OM beach a must watch

Activities & things to do: Water Sports like Banana Ride Parachute gliding and Horse Riding a Must.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Take a Bus ride is Comfortably pls have prior Bookings to avoid Last minute Rust

Murudeshwara Experience: Good and even referred to some of friends for their holiday spot

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: good food sight seeing is good

Activities & things to do: not many activities are done other than visiting temple and beach

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: always wear footware when walking on the roads as it is coastal area due to heat and humidity you feel your feet burning while walking especialy between 10AM to 5PM on a sunny day carry water as you may feel thirst

Murudeshwara Experience: Good place to visit. Good water sports and also cheaper compare to near by places like Gokarna, Honavor.

Murudeshwara Experience: Beach was excellent, the rides at the beach were comparatively cheap.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Murudeswar temple. Idugunji temple was nice.

Activities & things to do: Visiting Murudeswar temple, wave runner and boating

Murudeshwara Experience: The destination, Murudeshwara is a pilgrim places. Here a statue of shankar is constructed, which is the 2nd highest in the world. there are few very ancient temples with lot of stories. Besides the beautiful sea beach, natural beauty is excellent. Many other tourist destination is nearby, like Jog Water Falls.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is excellent. The place it self is worth to enjoy. But if one wish to explore nearby, there are places like Jog water Falls, Udupi, Some National parks, Manipal etc.

Activities & things to do: Beach walking., Jungle exploring, Cave exploring, doing religious puja and darshan, or just enjoying the sea beach.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Many feel monsoon is a wrong time to visit Murudeshwar. But I found monsoon is very charming. More over you can expect a huge discount in hotel tariff and other cost.

Murudeshwara Experience: Nice place. Lots of attraction around the place as well. Idagunji Ganesha temple, Scuba diving etc.

Murudeshwara Experience: Murdeshwara is best place to go on holidays irrespective of age, because the children and young couples enjoy on beach and the adults can visit the very old murudeshwara temple. Murudeshwara is famous for its very big temple tower and lord Shiva idol.

Murudeshwara Experience: The shiva idol is very beautiful and the gopuram is too good to see.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: We are from Andhra so we didn't liked the food that much. Sight seeing is Ok as we can have boat ride on sea. Shopping is somewhat ok.

Activities & things to do: Boat ride, climbing gopuram.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Reach here by night so that morning you can cover temple and by evening you can have a very good view of sunset.

Murudeshwara Experience: People who look for very good beach with all the beach activities can opt for murudeshwara. the spot is not very expensive. The spot is close to goa. so tourists visiting coastal karnataka or goa can check this spot. can assure this is a very good enjoyable spot.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is very good. There are many joints where we can have excellent taste. RNS residency is having a very good hotel on the sea front, it looks like floating hotel. food is good and reasonable. Shopping, i did not find any special to shop there.

Activities & things to do: All water sports and activities can be done. should not miss on these activities. Murudeswar tower has 25 floors and one can go to 22nd floor by lift. the scene from there is excellant. dont miss that.

Murudeshwara Experience: Muradeshwar is a place for relax at the weekend with family and friends get out of routine life and spend leisurely time with family members...

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: One should not miss the exhibition showed underground the temple the lights decorated on temple changes the color during night, just amazing one should take a family photo in front of the temple from a professional photographer for remembrance....

Activities & things to do: Visiting the temple, having a spa, walk around in the bazaar and pick up handful of things, sit on the beach side and enjoy the sound of waves....
