 Delhi Visit for 2 days

I and my hubby with my 2 year old daughter will be visiting delhi after a trip to kashmir, my arrival is new delhi station and also the departure, so kindly let me know which place would be better to stay, paharganj or karolbagh, recommed me some good hotel as im confused reading the reviews on net, also give some information about vegetarian hotels near by , and about shopping ideas and places, wher ui can do some good shopping without much bargaining, iv heard delhi shopping places closes of at 7 PM, so let me know your ideas and help, thanks iv advance | | |

Golden Triangle Tour In Dec end and Jan 1st week

I am planning to go for golden triangle tour (Jaipur-Delhi-Agra) with my family (Me , My wife, My parents and my 3 kids-10, 6 and 4 yrs old).
Tour is starting from 30th December 2012 to 6th Jan 2013.
I would really appreciate if someone validate my plans (though its at initial stage and only train ticket bookings are done) and help me (The points marked in red color) regarding the hotels at ll these places, the sightseeing and any other important points for the tour.
