Place of hills, lakes and fog.

I have been to Ooty in August 2017. The weather at that time was the best I. E cold and a little bit of rain. So we were 3 on 2 bikes from Bangalore. Before Ooty we crossed Bandipur National Park that too a beautiful place. Just after the national park is over you are greeted with hills and cold breeze. After we entered Ooty it was green everywhere with less amount of traffic. We searched for a place to stay put our bags there and left for Doddabetta peak road was not in a very good position but it was also not worst. There was a entry ticket of 20(not totally sure and the view from the peak was breathtaking, beautiful. Sunrays coming out from the clouds and shining over the valley. We spend around hour and half there and then left for Botanical Garden as the day was ending and we didn't have time to go someplace else. The garden is maintained pretty well with a large variety of flowers and plants. We then left for our room and rested at night and morning after taking breakfast we left for Paykra Lake and Falls. In the way we found Shooting point so we decided to take a look. And again the look was breathtaking there was a huge lake with 3 sides covered with huge trees it was totally beautiful. After that we reached Paykra Lake and it started raining so we waited and then decided to take a ride in the lake. It was very chilling with fog and rain but the view was beautiful. Youtube. Must visit place

We all know how marvellous Ooty is. It's route from Bangalore in itself is worth paying a visit. The climate, Ooty lake, roadside vendors for winter coats and other stuff is something not to be missed out. And even if someone is really interested to gasp fresh air ... Oxygen in it's purest form then it fits the bill. Trust me your body will be thankful to you ... For the abuse we do to our bodies with the polluted air.
Ooty also reminds of lush green forests with corniferous trees, eucalyptus which ought to be mentioned. And if we happen to have a look on the other side of ghat. We can clearly see lots and lots of fresh vegetables grown with cabbage and carrots topping the list.
