Ooty Experience: It is amazing i e cliimate, flowers hills. Nice claimate to have warm drinks. Nice to be with family and children.

Ooty Experience: It is always perfered to travel during Season time. Coonoor is better than Ooty. Why becasue the natural enviroment is getting demolished and lot of hotels are build in Ooty. So you will soon miss the greenery. But Coonoor is good and greenary

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Since i am from tamilnadu, there is less tamilnadu food You can see lot of kerala and Kanada food.

Ooty Experience: A very good destination but very poorly maintianed. The city roads are narrow and congested. The road from Coimboitre to Oooty from coonoor side is extremely dangererous. People are not friendly to tourirsts.

Activities & things to do: Rose Garden and Botanical garden is very good. You must visit the Bandipur side to natural lakes, hills and falls.

Ooty Experience: We got ready for First Day sight seeing . ie Ooty and Coonor . First we went to Coonor and visited below places – Dotapetta Peak, Tea factory visit , Botanical Garden , Ooty Lake , Wax Museum , Sims Park , Military area outside view , Tea estate visit , Lambs Rock view , Dolphin nose view and Cathrin water Fall . Climate was very chill and enjoyed the weather over there . We didn’t get a perfect view on dolphin nose rock , cathrin water fall and lamb rock view due to fog . But its great place . Second day , we planned to visit Pykara which is around 20Km from Ooty and we visited Golf course view , Pine forest visit and there we enjoyed Horse ride which cost me around 400 for two horses . but still u can bargain with them to get a good deal . Also we visited pykara fall , pykara dam view , kamraj sagar dam , pykara lake and we spend time in pykara boat house also ,for 6 person it comes around 800 Rs and if u get other people u can share with them . Shooting point , Rose garden , Pykara water fall . After that we went to one Kerala hotel in ooty near to Commercial Road called “Tharavadu Restaurant “ . Hope this is a nice hotel for Kerala people and south Indian , But still you can get north Indian food also. But I didn’t try that . There are lots of hotels are there , but be careful while selecting the restaurants. For shopping , you go near Botanical Garden and there is one Tibet market is there , where you can buy woollen items and jackets and all at reason rates . Also one bazaar is there , for small shopping and all . You will get very fresh carrots and fruits . Don’t forget to try , ooty apples , few more rare fruits . Also You can go to Commericial Road , where there are lots of shops where you can buy different types of sweets and clothes. Don’t forget to buy Ooty chocolates and Different Flavour tea dust from tera factories. Eucalyptus oil and different types of oils for different good purposes I didn’t try all , So buy it on ur own risk. You will surprised of seeing big big roses in Rose garden . and it’s a nice visual treat again. On the way to all places , you will enjoy the beauty of Ooty .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: We get all varieties of food. The main attraction was being in the tea garden and driving through road that goes from multiple tea gardens. Our guide told us that file “Saajan” shooting happened here and so many other films also has same location, It was very pleasant, very refreshing and wonderful drive to Dolphin Nose view point. One can also see different shapes in the rock, Falls, beautiful Nilgiri hills etc. Nice place for shopping as well.

Activities & things to do: After coming back from that scenic drive we had lunch in Quality inn in Coonoor itself and then spent 2 hrs at Sims park. Kids enjoyed in that park and did paddle boating in that park.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: If you are driving then it’s about 300KM, and be warned that route through Bandipur is closed at night and they let vehicles only after 6AM. There is however another route which is shorter but have more hairpin bends. Be careful with Speed breakers you may around 100 speed breakers All attraction in Ooty closes by 6 PM, So plan accordingly

Ooty Experience: Ooty was our destination.we had been on april 28 to30, 2013 .the weather was very pleasant.first day we had to meet with the rain.ooty lake and the garden were beatifull.we could not go to doddabetta as road was closed for repair but me and my family enjoyed the every moment in ooty.We also had a ride in the train from coonoor to ooty which nobody should miss.lastly ooty is a must place to visit in a life time especially in summer.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: our hotel restuarant was ok.we had our dinner in hoyel restuarant.kingstar shop near charring cross for chocolates is very good.bharath tea company at market is good for tea powder.

Activities & things to do: boating at the lake.horse riding.cycling.train ride.fresh ooty carrot.hot masala tea should not be missed.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: we reached ooty through mysore from bangalore.we took nearly three and half hours from mysore.road through gudalur is good,throug which buses also ply.never take the 36 hairpins bends route unless u are a very good driver.

Ooty Experience: Its Great! You feel less Crowd. You feel good atmosphere. Feel and get all things in resonable rates. Ooty is good environment.

Ooty Experience: overhall destination was good. we enjoyed very much .ooty is such a nice place . i suggest everyone to go over there. some place like . botanical park,kannur, ooty lake , rose garden , and many more places is thers to visit

Ooty Experience: Ooty visit was a wonderful experience for us. The toy trian journey was remarkable..and never miss. Nearby coonoor is also a wonderful location.this is just 20 minutes from ooty..

Ooty Experience: The ooty is the best destination during summer to stay. It is required to stay one night and on day minimum . So that u can see nature beauty in full The climate is look like a mediteranian type with plants and trees U can see human settlements all over the hills

Ooty Experience: Very good, stayed near the enchanting Botanical garden, enjoyed Lake and boating,visited wax house, fantastic Rose garden and overall good hill view.

Ooty Experience: Good trip we stayed for 2N/3D still last day not feel to leave Ooty. Due to busy schedule we unable to stay more than that. I can say April-May ideal time to visit, so one can enjoy Ooty climate. Darshan Hotel boarding and lodging is good and worth also.Room Service is good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Darshan(South Indian) Food is good but felt a bit costly. offers Room service also. Don't forget to shop HandMade chocolates, sweaters etc.

Activities & things to do: Boating in Lake House cloudy evening became a unforgettable memory in my life. we enjoyed a lot in ooty.

Ooty Experience: It was superb place to visit, you can see Botanical Garden, rose garden etc. its very cool place we can enjoy in the evening time and lot of greenery we can find almost 24 hours you can see rain there and nature is simply superb.

Ooty Experience: Very good. But too crowded. Coonoor is quiet & better. Do not miss the Toy Train. For Toy Train, best option is 1 night stay in Metupalyam & then do the entire journey.

Ooty Experience: Ooty was a worth seeing place in South India. The local people were very good, sweet and calm. Botanical Garden was the best tourist spot at Ooty.

Ooty Experience: This was my 1st trip to ooty with my gf and frankly telling this place is not worth spending 1k also.If you are north Indians and from Bangalore bhaiya ji this climate you can enjoy everyday in Bangalore itself. Everything has commericilized here so no nature feelings etc. People are greedy, normal hotels itself are way costly resorts way beyond a average earning people. And worst thing is even if you choose best, water and food quality is worst. You wont feel like eating and bathing and local people give excuse of heavy rains. Too many hidden charges on everything. Food oh my god you will feel like being on dieting during your stay. Worst experience among my kodiakanal, kerala trips.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: You will die hungry here. No food chains. Resaturants provide worst quality food. Even southern food items made me vomit almost..

Ooty Experience: Ooty is a nice location to visit. Its best in dec - march. One would enjoy if he travels with his soul mate. Lot of greeneries.

Ooty Experience: First time go in flight indigo jet to pune to banglore.then we go mysoor n come in ooty to stay my lide special day we r very happy in welback hotel to stay in cool area and warm up.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Special dish is chikcen noodels in the hotel other ll be so hot n spice. restaurentn u go to opp. hydrabaad chiken house special kabab is here to eat non veg special dish at nightm
