 the golden temple | The golden temple is a place that you must never forget visiting.It is a grand and a very beautiful creation:!: ....it is 209 km from bangalore on the bangalore chennai highway.

Coloured Lungis are strictly restricted.Women have an option to wear a saree or a chudidar.Photos ,baggages and mobiies are strictly restricted .For depositing all these articles a cloak room is available.chappal stands are also made
After this follow the drections to reach the main temple.it might be a little crowded but they regulate the people very well.the walk to the temple is a long but a refreshing one.Once you come to the main temple it is a splended sight  .the temple is built in stone and covered in a plating of gold and is built on an island on a created pond. After a circumambulation around the pond you will be able to see the idol of goddes lakshmi .They will not allow you to stand there for a long time due to the crowd but can get a glimpse of the idol. However if you have bought the special darshanam ticket you have the privelege of a longer and a nearar darshan.After descending the most important thing  shopping .There are some stalls for shopping. The arrangement has been made for prasadam.When you come out of the last gate you have many stalls and can keep you occupied for a while
