Cruisng in Houseboats, rowing on small boats, walking on the narrow lanes along the backwater. The beach is another fun place to be. It's clean & has white sand. Some small vendors also sell kites on the beach - not to be missed!

Try to avoid travelling in local jettys(boats) unless you know the place well. Some localites looking for cheap thrills can misguide tourists. Better to rely on transport provided the resort/hotel itself.
