Overview of the destination
MP is full of greenery. There are very good places around Bhopal, esp. Sanchi and Bheem Betka. The best climate to visit is winter season. Unfortunately you can't cover the distance in reasonable time because of road conditions. To reach Sanchi 60 km from Bhopal, you take 2 hrs. Hotel Nisarga, located at MP Nagar Bhopal was a pleasant experience in our stay in MP. This is a medium budget hotel. The charges are value for money. The service is excellent. The food is mouth watering. The room service is quick and good. There is nothing you can complain about. There is 24 hours hot water even in the chilly climate of December for bathing. The staff is courteous.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
The ?Sanchi Stoopa? and ?Bheem Betka? are places worth visiting. The govt. autorised guide at Sanchi was very poor in his training. His English was horrible, even his knowledge about history was terrible, we requested him not to spoil the image of our country in front of foreigners. Our experience at ?Bheembetka? was exactly the opposite, the guide who met us was a really knowledgeable, humble and non demanding. He had the pefect knowledge of the history of this place.

Activities & things to do
We were suggested by the staff of Hotel Nisarga to shop at ?Paridhan Punj? for sarees. This is a really nice shop, giving you excellent quality and variety of sarees at a shockingly reasonable rates. The lake of Bhopal could be viewed from the Noor Us Sabah Hotel. This has nice location.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
If you are new to MP. First remember, never plan to go by road with your own vehicle, unless you have a gypsy. The road conditions are like that. The ?complimentary? breakfast at 'Hotel Nisarga' of Bhopal, contrary to one?s expectation, used to be a real treat. This used to be a sumptous one, they even adjusted our bed tea charges with this. On the day of our depature at 6 in the morning, they gave us our breakfast, nicely packed, even without demanding for it. This was a great support during our return journey via Karnataka express. (You know how is the pantry service of Indian Railways)

Overview of the destination
It is a very quiet place facing the lake within the city of Bhopal. one can view the boats plying with different colours of flags. An evening walk on the road surrounding the lake is very refreshing. There is a launch available which can take you to the centre of the lake for a very nominal fees. It is a life time experience of a hotel which can give you a feeling of hill station, resort and a lakeside cottage all packed in one.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Sight seeing for a lovely view from hotel itself prevents you to go anywhere else. Otherwise there are muesems and zoo within a close distance of few kms.

Activities & things to do
Excellent water sports, adventure wild life studies, Museums, shopping in the interior lanes of Bhopal gives you its heritage past.
