Overview of the destination The highlight of Chapora is the Chapora fort, situated between Chapora and Vagator.
This is where the scene in Dil Chahta Hai was shot, of the three friends sitting atop a fort. The views from the top of the fort are very beautiful.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping There are tours which take you to the Vagator beach, but the fort is usually left unvisited.
There are a few shops along the beach, but otherwise there isn't much shopping.
Activities & things to do No water sports are available
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. One will probably have to come here via local bus, hire a vehicle and drive down to the fort.
Make sure you wear your sport shoes while visiting this place, because you will have to climb the hill for about 10 minutes to reach the fort.
