Overview of the destination
It was raining, the Manchester of south was in a such bad condition i had to manage with my family in getting a good accommodation in a good hotel, get a travel vehicle and some how managed.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Lot of places nearby with temple importance like Maruthamalai, Thenthirupathi etc. plus lot of local temples we visited. Annapoorna the chain of good restaurants offer good food and we can not forget the sweet mysurpa from Krisna sweets. We had a wonderful shopping of buying good cotton shirts from bazaar shops and handloom bedsheets and pillow covers from local mill outlet shops. We really would have missed the Black Thunder the theme park but we made it. It is worth enjoying place.

Activities & things to do
Planning is a must. But for our good planning we would not have enjoyed. So travel arrangements like booking good room in a good hotel, arrange for a travel vehicle where the driver may be a good guide as we got it and the name of the good restaurants we should know in and around our visiting places.

lot of trains connect this city from different places in India, buses are very frequent from near by cities and plane services connect this city from major airports in India.
