Overview of the destination
It was a nice trip for 4 days. Enjoyed the beauty of 'QUEEN OF HILL', the greenery , Beautiful gardens, dense vegetation and of course the challenging rocks of Mountain peaks covered with snow.

Must try sauces and burgers hotdogs in Keventers. Botanical gardens, rock gardens, rope way, Ghoom, stadium etc

Darjeeling is in Northern part of Bengal, full of greenery and vegetation. Darjeeling can be reached from Kolkata by road, train or by air. Nearest airport is in Bagdogra ( 85 KM from here ). By train you can reach New Jalpaiguri station and avail Toy Train to Darjeeling ( it will take approx 5 hrs) and very pleasant journey. Or by road it takes 4 hrs (approx 70 Km) fare is around Rs. 90/head. Buses and pvt. taxis are available always. Nearest sub divisional town is Siliguri. It is recomended to carry all the necessary articles from Siliguri to Darjeeling as the costs are little bit high.
