Overview of the destinationthe place has so much to offer. Dirty broken roads, unclean air, unruly traffic, congested 'old' city and a two malls worth new city.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping
There are two malls, SRS and Crown Plaza. Site-see them or shop; eat there or watch movies, the choice is yours. SRS, however, is very attractively built. Parking is free and ample. Away from the main city, Surajkund is a good bet but mostly during the annual crafts mela. It might be a good idea to visit Badhkal lake, considering there isn't much else to see anyway. Cricket fans could check out the Nahar Singh stadium.
Activities & things to do
The 'Town Park' (as its called) offers run-of-the-mill rides and a couple of eateries. 'Fun n food village' on Mathura road might be a respite. Faridabad is enroute Agra and Mathura from Delhi, so you find 'Haldirams', 'Nirulas' and 'Mc Donalds' on the Mathura road.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
The city adjoins Delhi. Located on the Delhi-Mathura highway. This place is not for those allergic to dust and industrial pollutants. Electricity is a big big problem. So if you have babies, please have mercy on them as the city will not.
