Overview of the destination Baga beach is on one (nothern) end of a very long beach. The southern end is called Calangute. Lots of shacks to eat and a resonable amount of water sports makes this a nice beach for the more active types who like to be among people. Solitude seekers need to go elsewhere.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping Brittos is the most famous shack here; good selection of food.
Activities & things to do Water sports such as jet skis, para-sailing, sppedboats, dolphin trips can all be done.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. Be very careful of the beach. At low-tide there is a strong current that pulls swimmers out to sea. Specifically check with the lifeguard about safe places to swim, before getting out to the sea.
