A great destination with beatiful mountains, covered with deodar trees. A trek through wilderness to the Himalayan snow-peaks and a stroll to Mcleodganj will give you everything you would want while holidaying.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Wonderfull view of the beautifull mountain ranges covered with snow and clouds. Went for a small trek and enjoyed the wonderful view of the surroundings. Some of the local attractions are Mcleod Ganj( Dalai Lama montesary).Others are Bhagsunag Fall, St. John's Church, War Memorial , Dal Lake and you also have the tea garden in dharamshala. If you wanna more of the tea garden then go to palampur as we did. On the way you can take stop at chitrakut and kangra devi temple. The temple has a picnic spot in the backdrop with a river flowing through it.
Must see: Dhramkot, Dalai Lama montesary, Trekking road to triund. Activities & things to do
Trekking: Can hire bikes to go till triund or cna have a small trek by foot. A lovely picture perfect view from every corner of the trek route. Trekking starts from Dharamkot till Triund. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.

 Treks from Dharamshala and Weather in November | | Hi,
I am planning to spend a week in Mcleodganj in the end of November. I would like to know about the weather in the place around that time. What are the temperatures, possibility of rain etc.
I am also interested in knowing about possible day treks from there and nearby villages that are worth visiting.
