Overview of the destination
First experience is mind blowing by children Water is not clean , but the falls make you thrilling and everybody enjoyed, without boat ride you will not enjoy, boat cost Rs 500

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Packed food is best , no good hotels. Near the falls , fresh fish is fried.

Activities & things to do
take the rowing boat & you will experience the falls from down. please be careful do not experiment in any photograpy stunts

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
We went in our car, on a holiday the distance can be covered in 4 hours. Around 180 kms from Bangalore. High way route is good :Bangalore -Hosur - krishnagiri, Dharmapuri & Hogenikal , with bi-lane traffic and one toll gate While returning we took a different route distance is 140 kms, no toll gate. Hogenikal , Rayakatai, Hosur & Bangalore. We pass on lots of towns , we shopped for good fresh vegetables, flowers. At Hosur we shoped for crackers for Diwali.
