Lovely Paradise! Must see for all homely environment - treated and guided well by the people of Srinagar. A tourist can visit freely without having fear in mind - good security arrangements by the Jammu & Kashmir Government and also it is well guarded with good Military Forces of India. If a person who wants to see HEAVEN ON EARTH in my opinion he should visit KASHMIR to see the real PARADISE which is in SRINIGAR, Gulmarg, Pahalgham, Sonamarg and others. Food, sight-seeing and shopping
SONAMARG Kishansar,Vishansar, Gadsar Satsar and Gangabal also from Baltal to Amarnath Cave. GULMARG, the meadow of flowers, after a superb drive the cup of Gulmarg opens as a wonderful valley and you can take a gondola ride right up to Appervat, and see the great Himalayas. Have a glimpse of NANGA PARBAT if it?s not cloudy/hazy. PAHALGHAM is a village of shepherds. Tasty delicious food served at some good hotels, shopping is the same as every place, good if bargaining is done. Activities & things to do

There are many sources to reach Srinagar more convenient to fly to Srinagar directly from DELHI. Other sources are by train from DELHI to JAMMU and by road from JAMMU to SRINAGAR by tourists vehicles. | |

 package tour wanted | | Hi,
i wanted to visit srinagar and close by destinations like sonamarg gulmarg pahalgam etc in a 7n/8d tour. iwould like to know the best possible combination of places and budget hotels upto Rs 1000 for stay. would also like to know the different ativities one can perform there.this visit will be in december by 24th upto 1st or 2nd january. we are a family of three with as son of 5 yrs. we may have another similar couple with us.
Do advice on the same.
