Bandipur
Overview of the destination
Its a nice place to visit. Like all tiger reserves, this one is also the same. Spotting a tiger is impossible. You would be luckiest if you could spot one. Rest of the animals are easily seen like bison, deers, elephants etc.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
There are not too many good places to stay. the best place to stay is Wildways. Its a old plantation house converted as a weekend getaway place. Some amazing music collection and amazing food is served. Nothing to shop except if you go up to Oooty.

Activities & things to do
Its a place to just relax and enjoy the nature around.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
From Bangalore you need to go to Mysore and then to Gundlupet and then Bandipur. Its about 4 hrs of drive. Good roads. If you love photogrpahy then this route is extremely beautiful.

 Badipur travel options
We are from Bangalore (2 adults). We want to know what are the modes of transport available from Bangalore or Mysore to reach Bandipur ? We may prefer to reach Mysore by train and take a taxi or a good luxury bus to go to Bandipur. We may also prefer a conducted tour from Mysore to Bandipur and back to Mysore by taxi or bus with one night halt in Bandipur. Pls respond Tks n rgds Ramani Kumar
