| travellingisdreaming Delhi | 16th September 2008 | | Lesser know - lovely Buddhist destination in India | Overview of the destination Although Dharamsala is a very famous tourist spot for those enchanted by the colorful prayer flags and Buddhist culture - the counterpart to this city is BYLAKUPPE in KUSHALNAGAR in COORG region, another (lesser-known) habitation for Tibetans in exile with some very cool monasteries.Food, sight-seeing and shopping There are a few very simple restaurants - however you need to have a quick dinner as most close by 8pm. Activities & things to do There are quite a few monasteries and a few touristy places nearby. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.

I am planning to visit Coorg in between Dec 26th to Dec 3o th fro around three days.
