Overview of the destination
I drive of about 530 Kms from Bangalore and we reached Dandeli. Initially we got help from holidayiq for booking information. From Dandeli another drive of 50 Kms took us to Anshi. Wilderness at its best. No Mobile connectivity. No Landline connections except wireless communication. All is to be found are Solar Powered Lamps which are just enough to see and make your way around. Otherwise its pitch black. If you are a non-vegetarian, please buy the same from Dandeli and then the cooks in Anshi Nature Camp can prepare the dishes. One of these guys (Nagesh) will let you know that there are Black Panthers roaming around but then he would comfort you by saying that there are no dangers with Black Panthers. Rather the bisons are known to be dangerous in these parts. At this point of time you look into the darkness and can hear strange noises which would grip you intensely(well only if you exercise some imagination).

530 KMs from Bangalore, Route Bangalore - Chitradurga - Hubli - Dharwad - Dandeli. Till Dharwad NH4 then you got to take a diversion. 100 Kms from Karwar (different route)
