Sight-Seeing - nil, Shopping - below average, food - depends where you eat. The best place to get good food in mangalore will be Taj Manjarun, but... the service quality and hygiene is really below minimum expectations. Time to deliver food from the time of ordering varies from 35-50 minutes. Sometimes your starter may reach your table after your desert! But the taste of the food is good. The management must change. Activities & things to do
There is a water park in mangalore but the water hygiene is truely errr, I would not step in there. Bowling... You may try the massages at Taj Manjarun, but do not expect a Spa of Taj 5 star deluxe standards Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
How to Reach - Bajpe airport, Railway, Coaches from Bangalore, Goa, Mumbai etc etc
Travel tips - since the last monsoon the roads got severely damaged and nothing has been done to properly repair them, so kindly expect the unexpected. Bring a first aid kit!
Warnings - Mangalore has recently been home to hindu-muslim riots that occur when you least expect it. So please watch out for that | |

 Visit to mangalore from 26th dec to 31st dec | | Hello,
I am planning to visit mangalore from bangalore. We are 2 adults and 2 children .We are reaching Mangalore on the 27th dec morning and starting back from mangalore on the 31st evening. Can somebody please suggest good place to stay in mangalore and also places around mangalore which we can visit. Also suggest a good tour operator if any so that we can book taxi.
