Mangalore -beautiful beaches
Overview of the destination
Mangalore is located in Karnataka. It is famous for fish, beaches and clean town. Mangala Devi temple is in Mangalore. kollur,Kateel and Subramanaya temples can be visited by staying in Mangalore. Kollur Temple is famous because MGR and Jayalalitha visited and Subramanya temple is famous because Sachin Tendulkar visited.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
You can see parks and beaches. Do eat Gad bad ice cream which is very famous over there.shopping there is bit costlier compare to bangalore. But there is craze for latest fashion as it is near Mumbai.

Activities & things to do
though weather is hot eating ice creams is fun.Local buses are very fast and you can travel within no time.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
Best season to travel there is October to December. You can travel from bangalore i.e. 300 kilometers from Bangalore or else from Mumbai which is also west coast.Travelling from Chennai you have Mangalore Mail and west Coast Express train i.e. 18 hours travel from chennai.
