Mysore is the city of joy and culture. You have a lot of things to see, old as well as new. Mysore Palace is worth seeing and specially the lighting during night on Sundays and holidays (19.00 - 20.00 hrs.) should not be missed. Mysore Zoo and Vrindavan Garden are worth visiting. Srirangpatana brings back the memories of Tipu Sultan.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
One can take up a one day sight-seeing tour but You should spend at least 3-4 hrs. in Vrindvan Garden. There are a lot of things for shopping including Sandalwood products and silk. Rail museum is worth visiting, which is not in the one day tour programme of the local operators. Activities & things to do
Moving around in the evening and enjoying the local food. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
Local Auto riskshaws and Taxis can charge you much more than the actual fare. Do not buy Sandalwood products or wood from unknown or unreliable person | |

 HOTELS IN MYSORE | | HI!
THIS IS ARVIND AND I WOUL LIKE TO KNOW SOME DETAILS REGARDING HOTELS IN MYSORE.
I AM TRVELLING TO MYSORE FOR A DAY AND I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE HOTELS WHICH IS NEAR RAILWAY STATION AND ALSO NEAR TO PLACES OF INTEREST.
THE TARIFF CAN BE AROUND Rs.1000/- TO RS.1500/- AND IT SHOULD IF POSSBLE A VEGETARIAN ONE.
