Food, sight-seeing and shopping
alleppy beach is the best place to be apart from the backwaters, it is very neat and clean unlike the other beaches . next is the backwaters which is the heart of alleppey and the final destination. we need to book a house boat for one night or more depending on the number of people travelling. its like a 3 star hotel on water. the house boat takes you through the backwaters which is a unique experience in itself and at night is is anchored at some place where you spend the night enjoying the fruits straight from the tree and fishes which you can catch yourself. there is nothing much to shop other than some prawns ,fishes , coconuts and other fruits which village people sell on the banks of the backwater.

Activities & things to do
Being on a houseboat there are not many activities than can be done but to relax yourself completely and and detoxify yourself of all the tensions, stress of daily life. People interested can do some fishing and cook fishes that they catch, you can take a walk through the villages when the boat is anchored in evening.
