Overview of the destination well it is the most comfortable journey from Bombay. It took me exactly 2 hours by road. What really got my attention was the central location of fariyas from the market of lonavla. also the bathrooms are so clean and the bouffet breakfast lunch and dinner are great.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping one should visit the bushy dam in monsoons. a must eat would be the chocolate fudge which is to die for. greenery and close to nature is exactly what one feels in lonavla.
Activities & things to do mornings you can go swimming in the water park. you can also play pool, gym, library etc.
evenings can be spent in the market and watching the sun set from your balcony.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. its 2hour drive from bandra or dadar. you can also go by train from VT station but i would recommend the car as you can watch the scenery at your will and stop over at panvel for a quick bite at mcdonalds.
