Overview of the destination we were a group of friends with our family for one day picnic at malshejghat. We start drive from lower parel (Mumbai) and pick-up at 5 stops on the way during the travel. The road was so smooth and as good as we expected. The scenic beauty is fantastic around Murbad-Malshej way. We went under the waterfall at Malshej ghat. Roads are covered by trees, dense green cover, clouds with full of water & rains during the whole day. We were enjoying every second of day. As we reached Malshej, we saw several groups enjoying waterfall along the ghat. I would recommend that to visit at Malshej ghat during july 1st week to August, 2nd week in the monsoon season.

We carry our food from mumbai only and eat at top of the ghat in open space. Entire view is great from top of ghat.
Activities & things to do Just enjoy the waterfalls, cloudy weather and greenary all the way.
