Overview of the destination
Ooty is rightly called the queen of hills. It is gifted by nature & is very well developed for tourism. There are mindblowing scenic beauty & the climate is very pleasant. Good break for refreshing, relaxing & enjoying.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
All types of food is available for vegeterians & non-vegeterians. Sight seeing is great......ooty lake, botanical garden, rose garden....or u can move to paykara lake...c the pine forests, dam...or go to coonoor...sim's park, tea gardens, dolphin nose etc. Shopping is nothing great...except some oils....spices...& ooty carrots.

Activities & things to do
boating, sight seeing....also in th emonth of may there are flower shows,car rally etc...so u can be a part of it too.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
coimbatore is the nearest airport. Vehicles are easily available for ooty. Carry woolens even in summer. It gets quite chilled in the nights specailly.
