Surrounding of the top of Ajodhya Pahar many beautiful spots are there like Bamni falls 11km, Hydel power project 14km., Pakhi pahar 8km., Mayur pahar 4km., Sita kund (hot water spring) 7km., another a very good waterfall is Turga also there about 16km. Towards the hydel project are very beautiful spots for roaming around.
Activities & things to do
Ajodhya pahar is ideal for trekking through the lush green forest, but without taking any alcoholic substance. And mind it that without any unnecessary noise. Be very quiet and maintain the peace in the forest while trekking.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
Nearest station is Purulia. From Purulia, bus services are there to Sirkabad. You can hire a car also from Purulia till Ajodhya pahar top - it is a motorable road. But best is from Sirkabad by trekking. It is 17km. from Sirkabad. Another way is there from Baghmundi. From there 19km. till top. Due to forest area, don't take any unnecessary risk towards the terrain area, otherwise route can be lost by unknown people.
