Delhi | 9th March 2007
weekend is not enough
Overview of the destination
Overall place is very good, market place is bustling with activity everybody wants to sell something. Even rickshaw puller has got something to sell.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Ram Bagh palace is a nice place to hang out; nice lounge. Food at Rajputana Sheratons? peshawri restaurant is particularly good, though both of the places are a bit expensive. For shopping Bapu Bazaar has the best of all stuff. Chokhi Dhani a little outside the town is not to be missed. Here you get the real earthen feeling.

Activities & things to do
If you like history, this is the place to go. Sit in the restaurant on the edge of Amber fort and you will feel heaven.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
From Delhi drive in your own car - highway is clean, safe and you enjoy your drive. Beware of people selling you jewellery and gems at cheaper rates.

 None Tourist
Hi All I'm visiting Jaipur in November & would like to visit some areas which are not tourist areas. I would like to see a part of Jaipur which only locals would visit. I'm interested in temples, museums, parks, eating, anything which would be typical india. Any ideas?????? kind regards Michelle
 Sightseeing in Jaipur
We are planning to visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. We would visit Delhi first, followed by Agra and then Jaipur. It is a 10 day trip and we have about 3 days in Jaipur. Would 3 days be enough to do a reasonable sightseeing of Jaipur ? Also appreciate feedbacks on the popular "must-see" places in and around Jaipur.
