| RASHI dubai | 24th August 2008 | | Wonderful summer break destination | Overview of the destination We went to Mount abu in mid july this year with parents, kids ......... full family and all of us thoroughly enjoyed . Earlier we were not sure if we will enjoy the weather , but weather was so nice that time just flew.Food, sight-seeing and shopping Rajasthani food is so good and the way they serve it makes it even more special. For kids- there is a pizza take away shop next to Cafe Coffee Day and this was the highlight for my 5yr old son.
I will recommend anyone to buy from the wide variety of LAC bangles and also those leather footwear and not to forget to mention the colorful bandhni skirts/ suits. Activities & things to do We hired a taxi for full day and we went all the places we wanted to see, at our convenience. Boating in Nakki lake was quite nice , Bhilwara temples are very beautiful and the sunset point was terrific. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. We went from Delhi , the over night journey in Rajdhani was quite comfortable and enjoyable ( ina big group). From Mount abu railway station you get the taxis very easily to reach the main town and then you can just relax in the lap of nature or just roam about on the small streets picking up some of the most beautiful LAC bangles or bandhni dresses !! | |
