| vastu Bangalore | 12th January 2007 | | great marwadi holiday | Overview of the destination The destination is excellent; not so costly like other hill stations. Good temples to visit such as dilwara and few others. Good trekking - you can go trekking to achalgarh and nakki lake. Overall a good relaxing holiday. I stayed at maganjis hotel its not listed but very good place to stay i have given the request for its inclusion. overall a great place to visitFood, sight-seeing and shopping good place to buy souvneirs. bargain well. visit to ambaji temple in gujrat which is around 50 kms away. good places to eat are at arbuda restaurant; you also have a nice coffeday at maharaja hotel complex which also houses a nice south indian restaurant. a visit to dilwara temples nakkilake and achalgarh is must there is also a nice temple of bhramakumaris this is also a musty visit Activities & things to do this is also a wildlife conservation centre it is officialy declared a wildlife santuary. you can trek into this forest and have a nice treking experince. one more thing pls dont miss the delicious rabri sweet at abu raod station or abu sweet market - its just great Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. very accesible you can get down at abu road station which has regular trains from delhi ,ahemdabad,mumbai to name few and its just 35 kms from abu road to mt abu | |

we are planing for our 25th wed.ann. |  | Visiting Mount Abu | | Please let me know when is the right time to visit Mount Abu - Oct or Nov and the various spots or locations to be visited in & around it.
Also which other destinations in Rajasthan can be planned along with Mt. Abu in a total weeks time.
