It was a wonderful trip for a day, were on a tour to Kerala for 10 days and visiting Kanyakumari was top on the list. The place has its own ethnic charm with amazing temples and shrines, beautiful scenery and awesome wax museum.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Got the see and know about the famous Swami Vivekanand, where he meditated on the rocks of all the three sea meeting together...BAY OF BENGAL, INDIAN OCEAN AND ARABIAN SEA. The statue and the temple made for him is a must to see. The Sun Rise calendar and the history of how time was located according to sun's rays. The Wax museum was awesome with wax structures of some famous personalities like Rajiv Gandhi, Rahul Dravid, Mahatma Gandhi, sumo wrestler etc. Activities & things to do
The place called Bay was amazing, was a park where you had entertainment like the water world, rides, wax museum and good food. One can do shopping for various sea shells products, you get good varieties. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
You have various buses and Private cabs which go daily to Kanyakumari; even you can reach by train which drops you at the station. | |
