Small but very pleasant location. Ha, it is a plain surface with ever farming activities on the hill when you go interior. Not so very high but pleasant. A fantastic location between Chennai and Bangalore. A budget destination and easily affordable. A real Indian village.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
If you are a strict vegetarian live on bread, and local south indian snacks. Heaven for Non veggies. visit the nearby villages on the hill. Trekking available. A lake, boating, walk around the lake, mini hill handicrafts, Pure honey(though costly). Restaurants to suit all budgets available. Do not miss the water fall (down the hill) and the silk research centre. Activities & things to do

Buses available from Vaniambadi, Tirupathur on Chennai Bangalore national highway. Hardly 20 kms from the highway. The same distance from Jolarpet railway station. Nearest airport Bangalore(150 kms) abd 230 kms from chennai. Crowded on sundays and holidays and sleepy on weekdays. Good crowd during summer. | |
