If not Taj, I wonder what would have visitors attracted to in India. Agra is still the way it use to be busy and bustling during moguls ruled India, you get a feeling of medieval times...Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Well other than Taj, you have Agra fort which has a history of over 1000 years.. great place to be in.
Winter always recommended for Agra, your might get burnt out in summers .. once i had been their during summers and it was damn hot. Activities & things to do
Stay relaxed.. and spend as much time as possible near Taj Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
By Road - From Delhi around 200 Kms
By Train - From Hazrat Nizammudin to Agra (Taj Express) 3 hours | |

 Ayodhya visit | | Hi,
I wish to visit Agra & Ayodhya , complete the 16 km long Parikrama at Ayodhya , with Delhi to be the base. How can I complete this in the minimum possible time? Is road travel from Agra TO Ayodhya , stated to be a distance of 500km advisable? what are the road conditions & how long will be the journey ---10 hours? Is night travel by hired vehicles safe for ladies?
Will be open to Air Travel if available.
