Taj Mahal
Overview of the destination
Taj Mahal, beyond doubt, is the most precious architectural heritage of the wonder that was India. As Fergusson remarked, 'it is the combination of so many beauties, and the perfect manner in which each is subordinated to the other that makes up a whole, which the word can not match and which never fails to impress even those who are most indifferent to the effects produced by architectural objects in general'.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Agra Fort : Among the other monuments that Agra takes pride in is the Agra Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. Jahangir's Palace : Built by Akbar, for his son Jahangir, it was the largest private residence in the fort. Other Places to Visit : Mathura and Brindavan. Mathura, on the banks of the river Yamuna, is the birthplace of Krishna, and Brindavan, the land of thousands of shrines and temples, which still echoes with stories and songs that recount the exploits of this charming God.

 Ayodhya visit
Hi, I wish to visit Agra & Ayodhya , complete the 16 km long Parikrama at Ayodhya , with Delhi to be the base. How can I complete this in the minimum possible time? Is road travel from Agra TO Ayodhya , stated to be a distance of 500km advisable? what are the road conditions & how long will be the journey ---10 hours? Is night travel by hired vehicles safe for ladies? Will be open to Air Travel if available. Thanks
