One of the very few calm and quite spots, ideal for disconcerting travellers wanting real solitude and one point relaxation. One of the finest cool weather, with night temp dropping below 10 degrees during April and may. Walkers paradise, what can one expect better at the altitude 10000 ft . Very good facilities at GMVN (Gadhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam) and Clifftop resort just superb. A heavenly place.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Good food, sightseeing facilities available at Joshimath. Visit to Badrinathji 35 km away, an added pilgrimage. Nothing much to shop. Please keep walking during your stay here; it will keep you fit for years to come; pure fresh non polluted air. Long walks advisable Activities & things to do
walking , ponny riding , nature ride Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
From Haridwar about 280 km, hilly terrain and breathtaking Ghats through out the journey; be prepared for landslides with adequate food and water in case you get stuck up. Although help is easily available, keep emergency phone no?s handy. | |
