Overview of the destination
From Delhi to Munsiyari in my Cielo with family- a rare experience of culture, weather and magnificent peaks gave all of us the feel of serenity and calm in the valley of Kumaon.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Simple food is good -variety is missing; non-veg items (main course) at dhabas in munsiyari is tasty and hygienic. Sight seeing is breathtaking and shopping is not at all necessary, yes you should see weaving machines(manual) at a village in Munsiyari for woollen items, you can buy rugs and carpets ; although I found them costly.

Activities & things to do
Just look at snow coated Himalayas staring directly in your face to give you spine chilling thrill at nights and early mornings, go for trekking, take a bath in freezing cold falls(small one) and you will never enjoy bathroom shower again or jacuzzi for that matter, its nature engulfing you in most liberal manner

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
First of all never travel by car; it was nice for me but torture for my wife and kid and bro/sis-in-law as it took me around 21 hours to reach my KMVN Hotel; its advisable to reach Almora by train and then take anything available to reach you there; although I am driving freak and this was pretty tiring and I was half dead at conclusion
