Inspite of its changes it is still the queen of hills. The nature lovers should go to sister bazaar to experience the real nature. One gets a panaromic view of the snow capped mountains. The walk from landour to char dukan is extremely scenic, tall deodar trees swinging in the pure n crisp air of the hills. After a km walk you reach Lal Tibba, a spot which is bereft of any change over the decades. The hills and the beauty are truly mesmerising in this part of Mussoorie. On the other end of the mall road is library; the long and meandering walk on the spring road is also a must for its therupetic effect on your mind n soul.Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Tavern restaurant is very good for chinese and Indian. Aggarwals and greens veg eating places are delectable. Le chef has a variety to choose from, fast food and more. 200 steps away is Bindras south indian -all the items are well prepared and delicious. Last but not the least is your dessert, a must try is fruit cream or custard jelly from Chic choclate. A boating in company gardens, a ride in the trolley to gun hills, a visit to kempty falls, Jhulaghar, a scenic walk on the camel back road. The pahari lal rajmas, woollen shawls. skating, horse riding and walking. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
5-6 hrs from delhi in your own vehicle or take a dehradun shatabdi express from delhi and a taxi from there to mussoorie which will reach in 45 mins. | |
